A kuzhi kalari near Kumarakom and Vagamon in the CVN line, with daily morning and evening classes and treatment during Karkidakam.
Founded in 1996 by Ajithkumar Gurukkal of the CVN tradition, focusing on Meypayattu as the cornerstone of the northern style. Classes run five to eight in the morning and five to seven in the evening daily, with yoga three times a week. Around eighty students currently train, including foreign students on short courses.
Massage and marma chikitsa run in Karkidakam, with oils made on site, and accommodation for up to eight in-patients with Kerala food. The kalari is a Responsible Tourism Mission member and arranges Kalaripayattu, Kathakali and Mohiniyattam performances on notice.
